i give up on my tuition kid
she has never done ANY work from 1st lesson till now
last wk i was quite pissed already
so i told myself tat if this wk she nv do work again.. i dowan to teach her anymore


ok some background info on her 1st
the agency told me is sec 4 kid
but when i reached, she was a sec5 ger..
originally in express but switched over to normal acad in sec3
she hasnt gone to sch for many months as she was too stressed//
initially wanna give up totally but her mum persuaded her to start again
she's an ah lian..
with tattoos on the thigh and back
she told me she works at sony ericsson
and at some thai pub as a waitress and bar top dancer
she smokes, drinks, and she used to take drugs till she got caught 2 years ago
WOW right.. i was so shocked to know so much about her during the 1st lesson..
i was thinking to me 'omg.. this one sure very difficult to teach etc'
but she told me that she noes tat in sg,
having at least an O level cert is the bare mimimal
she told me she noes she needs to work hard
so i tot.. at least she is sensible enough
so i really wanted to help her..


on our 1st lesson..
she was still slping when i reached her house
and she even showed me some fresh scars that she got
juz 2 hrs before the tuition
coz she got into a fight at the swimming pool..
faints ok nvm..
at least she's quite polite to me..
and told me she wanna chiong studies..
but the tuition ended 1 hr earlier,
as she said her mum told her its only till 7pm,
and she had to work after tat
so i said ok den i left..


on the second lesson
again, she was still slping when i reached
and her mum had to pester her to wake up..
she told me she din do her work (the homework i gave last wk) at all
coz she had no time...
so i told her to do it on the spot..
she said she dunno how to do anything except algebra
so i wrote down the solutions for her,
explained to her step-by-step
i asked her to memorize the steps,
and oso go read the guidebook den go try some other qns..
this second lesson, she ended the tuition 1/2 hr earlier,
as she told me she cant concentrate at all, her attention span is short etc
she has NEVER concentrated at all..
totally no interest in doing work, or listening to my explanation
she juz keep sms-ing, or picking up calls, or going to the toilet to smoke -_-"
so we agreed to split the tuition into 2 different days,
1.5 hours for each sub on 2 days (im supposed to teach her emath n combined sci chem)


today is the 3rd lesson
i reach her hse at 3pm
her mum open the door.. den say she tot is 4pm
but i said her daughter and i agreed on 3pm
so the mum went to wake the ger up
she's slping again, as usual..
i sat there... the mum went to call her and to take the books out
so i started flipping the books
the mum asked whether i gave homework for her daughter to do
i said yes..
den the mum said she nv see her daughter doing work at all
EXPECTED
nvm
the mum continue to wake her up


but i heard the ger screaming
"mai char la! kao peh kao bu *all vulgarities etc*"
den she continued to scream and say she wan to slp, dowan tuition
she said i dunno how to teach, only know how to nag at her and how to write down the solutions
but the thing is.. i DID explain to her!
last lesson i told her to do work on the spot
she say she dunno anything AT ALL
so i wrote the solutions down
den explain to her step by step
end up lei?


if i din write the soln down.. how to teach and explain to her?
i was so angry la
its like.. im juz outside the door..
and there u r screaming for me to go away, say i kao peh kao bu etc
super freaking angry!


so i juz stood up, and asked the mum over..
i told the mum i dowan to teach her anymore
i cant help the ger if she doesnt want to help herself
only 6 wks before her O levels
but she still dowan to start anything, dowan to do anything
only everyday go out, get drunk, tattoo, fight etc


i give up le
i dunno how to help her le
i was so angry tat i cried at her hse la
angry tears!
den the mum keep apologizing to me..
at the door she said she understands,
and tat im not the 1st tutor to give up on her duaghter

after i left her house..
i went to sengkang interchange..
coz i wanted to replace my ezlink..
i din manage to exchange my ezlink in sch on the day allocated to me
so i email the office of student affairs..
but the email bounced back..
so i emailed transit link..
they told me to either ask the school, or to replace it at the card replacement offices..
so i emailed one particular person in office of student affairs
its been 1 wk but she din reply at all
so nvm
i went to the sengkang interchange replacement booth


the person said that i need to go down to hougang interchange (nearest) for sch ezlinks etc..
so i went to hg interchange
when i reached.. the lady there said that she cant help me replace the cardchange directly,
muz obtain a form from the school, fill it up, den take my IC and photo back to hg interchange..
den probably wait a few days or wad before my card is ready..
faints
so now i gotta go to sch!


just see how bad my day was...
SUPER BAD MOOD!!! =(((
